On 20 June 2024, Jidu passed his Ph.D. Qualifying Examination at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), presenting his research proposal titled “Multiphysics and Multiscale Modeling of Phase Transition and Large Deformation in Granular Media”.
The examination committee consisted of Prof. Gang Wang, his co-supervisor Dr. Shiwei Zhao, and his supervisor Prof. Jidong Zhao. Jidu sincerely thanks the committee members for their time, insightful questions and valuable suggestions on his research.
