On 21 September 2026, Jidu attended Xiamen University’s talent exchange event for scholars in the San Francisco Bay Area, held at the Li Ka Shing Learning and Knowledge Center at Stanford University.
At the event, Prof. Zhaoxiong Xie, Assistant to the President of Xiamen University, gave a presentation titled “Choose the Strength of the South, Strive for World-Class Excellence”, introducing the university’s development and its talent recruitment policies for early-career researchers.
Yaobin, Yanglan and Ian also attended the event. Many thanks to Yaobin and Yanglan for driving us to Stanford and for showing us around the campus. It was Jidu’s first visit to Stanford.
